In this interview, graphic novelist/video game designer/TV show creator Doug TenNapel makes some wonderful and insightful comments about how he, a Christian, approaches his work as a creator. Hugh Jackman has signed on to star in and produce a film adaptation of “Ghostopolis," TenNapel's forthcoming graphic novel, which was recently optioned by Disney.
TenNapel says, "I'm trying to capture a richer view of Christianity that really isn't just 'topic, argument, topic, argument' ... it's showing a human side. How many times have you even seen a Christian depicted in film that was realistic? It's like, I don't know any of those people... anytime I see a Christian depicted in film, they're so 'Christian' they're not even human... they're like a bizarre bumper sticker."
